NATURAL GARDEN SOAP IS CLEANING UP

Nokomis, Florida ~ Handmade soap may be an unlikely ground-breaking product but it is a part of the cultural movement toward buying products that are healthy and eco-friendly.

Consumers Love Handmade Soap

Handcrafted in small batches, natural soap is gaining converts across the USA.  Customers are snatching it up in record numbers.  Since I started my business a year ago, sales have increased greatly each month.  Soapers, as we call ourselves, are finding success with creative marketing strategies.  For example, I display unpackaged, narrow-banded bars of soap in baskets and vintage suitcases boosting my sales.  Shoppers can't help but approach the display and pick up the soap.  They inhale the aroma, admire the natural ingredients listed on the back of each bar, and then buy it.

How Handmade Soap Is Made

At Natural Garden Soaps I, Paula Parrish the master soap maker, do things the old fashioned way.  I hand select natural ingredients, blend them in small batches and pour them into wooden molds.  All of my handmade soaps are made with olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, pure essential oils, pure distilled water and my own backyard botanicals.  My backyard botanicals include herbs, fruits, vegetables and flowers from my own organic garden.

What Makes Handmade Soap Awesome

Many people complain about commercially made soap making their skin feel dry and itchy.  They reach for lotion as soon as they get out of the shower.  Glycerin is a humectant.  When I create a batch of soap, saponification occurs and natural glycerin is created.  That means my soap attracts moisture to the skin.  Many commercial soap makers extract the glycerin and sell it to be used in higher priced beauty products. This leaves their soaps drying to the skin.

Care For Your Body With TLC

The skin is the largest human organ.  It is the body's first line of defense against dehydration, temperature, infection and harmful substances.  Handmade soaps give your skin the care it needs making bathing a naturally gentle and soothing experience.

Handmade Soap Is Good For You

The evidence is plentiful in regards to the healing powers of handmade natural soap, particularly when essential oils are included for their aromatherapy benefits.  Eczema and psoriasis sufferers, people that have sensitive skin, or have skin allergies often find immediate relief by switching to handmade soap.  Handmade soap is very mild due to how it is made, but also because of what is NOT in it.  In my handmade soap, there are no artificial colors, fragrances or preservatives.

Choose The Right Soap

To improve your skin's health you, the consumer, should carefully review the ingredients in the soap you are currently using.  If you can't pronounce the ingredients or if your skin is dry and/or irritated, you should consider switching to handmade soap.  Visit www.naturalgardensoaps.com to learn more about choosing which natural soap bar is best for your skin type.

A Eco-Friendly Revolution

A green consumer revolution is gaining ground across America.  The public gains more knowledge of the quality and benefits of handmade soap.  Small, ecologically sustainable businesses like mine are suddenly on the radar screens of large corporations; but more importantly are "in the showers" of the consumer who purchase at local fairs, festivals, markets and online.  You can buy soap that is made right in your own community and all across the USA!
